Sezibwa falls
These falls are located in Mukono district and in Buganda kingdom; it’s one of Buganda’s heritage sites. The falls start from the wetland that lies between the two lakes, Lake Victoria and Lake Kyoga. The water flows starts from west of the Victoria Nile and inters into the empty into Lake Kyoga in the direction of northern Kyoga. This waterfall has an amazing historical background that is normally told about on the visit to the falls

According to the researchers and traditional leaders, they say that the family of Nsubuga Sebwaato and Nakikkungu Tebatuusa produced the twines in form of water. The twins were named Sezibwa and Bwanda. The mother of these twins produced them on the way to Kavuma Bukunja. The fall of Sezibwa passed through different obstacles in the western direction and led it to be called Sezibwa falls. The brother Bwanda took its pass to the east towards Nyenga. Sezibwa falls is too amazing and it has a lot of supernatural power and most of the local tourists visit the falls to get the miracles they believe in.

Visiting the falls goes with other activities , it is accompanied by rock climbing and viewing of beautiful birds at the site. Most of the information is got from the site with the guide. Sezibwa falls is 7metres high. The wildlife surrounding the falls are mostly bush monkeys and reed tailed. There are birds also and other primates that are not gazette.

Sezibwa falls is close to Kampala and it’s like 2hours driving to Kampala, there are more accommodation around the falls, the luxury accommodation and midrange accommodation can be got to Mukono town or you can drive back to Kampala or you continue to Jinja town and you don’t need to be worried about the accommodation
